Production Batch
These wardrobes come from a Piombini production batch and are available in three examples. They are new pieces of furniture, now included in the Piombini Archive at a dedicated price.
Each wardrobe will be finished in our woodworking shop in the finish chosen from Bassano Chiaro Anticato, Bianco Consumato Anticato Patinato, and Burro Consumato Anticato Patinato, following the same artisanal processes and the same quality standards as Piombini production.

Piombini Archive
The Piombini Archive preserves furniture that belongs to our manufacturing history and deserves to continue living in a new home.
The D'Este P3117K wardrobe is built with solid wood load-bearing structure, frames, feet, plinths, and door frames. The panelled parts are made of veneered blockboard, chosen to create large, sturdy, and dimensionally stable surfaces.
Three large sliding doors
The three sliding doors provide access to the different compartments without requiring opening space in front of the wardrobe.
The central door features a large mirror with beveled edging around the perimeter. The bevel creates a subtle play of light along the glass edges, defining its profile and complementing the door design.
An organised interior space
The setup includes 5 wooden hanging rails, 3 internal shelves and a 90 cm wooden chest of drawers with 3 drawers, to organise hanging clothes, linen, knitwear, and accessories.
The Canaletto Walnut decoration
The central door is distinguished by a decoration in genuine Canaletto Walnut wood. The pattern is part of the Piombini stylistic heritage and brings a natural variation in grain and tone to the front.
Handcrafted finishes
Each wardrobe is completed in our joinery with the finish chosen when ordering. The wood goes through successive stages of preparation, colouring, and finishing, following frames, profiles, and shaped parts.
The Bassano Chiaro Anticato finish keeps the wood grain clearly visible. In the lacquered finishes White and Butter, wear, antiquing, and patina effects are instead applied by hand to the exterior parts.
The interior is finished in the chosen colour without the worn and patinated effect of the exterior, maintaining a more uniform surface. The slight differences in tone and intensity are part of the nature of handcrafted work.
Care of the wood and mirror
For the wood, use a soft, lightly dampened cloth and then dry the surface. Avoid alcohol, ammonia, solvents, and abrasive products.
For the mirror, use a soft cloth, applying any glass cleaner to the cloth and not directly to the surface. Avoid letting liquid reach the wooden parts, and do not expose the piece for extended periods to direct sunlight or heat sources.
Piombini Finishes
Material, color, harmony
Piombini finishes are design choices. They are created to bring balance between furniture, light, walls, fabrics, leather and the atmosphere of the home.
Each shade has a distinct character: it brings warmth, adds depth, lightens an arrangement, gives a study a more distinguished feel or makes a bedroom more welcoming.
A finish should be chosen thoughtfully. Its value lies in the overall effect: it creates harmony, continuity and style throughout the home.
Classic Finishes
Piombini's classic finishes bring out the furniture's authentic character: the warmth of wood, the depth of handcrafted details, and the distinctive appeal of antiqued and patinated surfaces.
The collection includes one wood finish, four full lacquer finishes, and four two-tone lacquer finishes. Each option brings elegance, rich texture, and craftsmanship to classic furniture.
Wood finish
A wood finish leaves the grain and natural color variations of the material visible. It is the choice most closely tied to the tradition of classic furniture: warm, rich and full of character, bringing the natural beauty of the wood to the fore.
It complements the wood, enhancing its grain, subtle tones and understated presence that makes each piece of furniture slightly different from the next.

To maintain the quality of your furniture over time, the simplest rule is also the most effective: do as little as possible.
For routine cleaning, a soft, dry cloth is all you need. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface immediately.
Avoid standing water, steam, direct heat sources, radiators and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Do not use alcohol, acetone, solvents, ammonia, harsh detergents, abrasive sponges, waxes or polishes that are not specifically recommended for the furniture.
Do not place very hot, wet or damp objects directly on the surfaces.
We also recommend avoiding direct contact with silicone-based materials, such as certain feet or pads used under alarm clocks, televisions and decorative objects. Some silicones can affect the furniture's finish. To protect the surfaces, use standard felt pads instead.
Only use doilies that have not been treated with chemicals or stiffening agents applied during ironing.
Once your bedroom furniture is in place, we recommend waiting at least two weeks before placing objects on its top surfaces, to allow the finishes to settle in their new environment.
