The offer and sale of products on our website are governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

The products purchased on the website www.piombini.it are sold directly by The Sun Srl, hereinafter also referred to as "The Sun Srl", "Piombini" or the "Seller".

1. Our commercial policy

1.1

The Sun Srl products featured in the online catalogue at www.piombini.it and the related commercial services are available both to end consumers and to entities purchasing with a VAT number, unless otherwise indicated. Product offers and related prices are valid as long as they are visible and available for purchase on the website and in any case while stocks last.

1.2

"Consumer" means a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to their business, commercial, craft, or professional activity.

1.3

The Sun Srl reserves the right not to accept or process orders that do not comply with its commercial policy, or in the presence of incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable data.

1.4

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern exclusively the offer, transmission, and acceptance of purchase orders relating to products available on the website www.piombini.it between the users of the website and The Sun Srl.

1.5

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale do not govern the provision of services or the sale of products by third parties that may be present on the website through links, banners, or other hyperlinks. Before placing orders or making purchases from third parties, we invite you to check their terms and conditions of sale, as The Sun Srl cannot be held liable for the supply of goods or services by third parties.

2. How a contract is concluded with The Sun Srl on piombini.it

2.1

To submit a purchase order for one or more products on the website www.piombini.it, the Customer must complete the electronic order procedure by following the instructions provided on the website.

2.2

Before confirming the order, the Customer will be able to view a summary containing the essential characteristics of the selected products, the relevant price, any applicable taxes, delivery costs, payment methods, and the conditions applicable to the right of withdrawal.

2.3

The order shall be deemed submitted when The Sun Srl receives the order form electronically and verifies the formal correctness of the data relating to it.

2.4

Before the final submission of the order, the Customer is required to read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale carefully, which may be saved, printed, or stored on a durable medium.

2.5

The order shall be stored in The Sun Srl's systems for the time necessary for its execution and in compliance with legal obligations. The Customer may request information relating to their order by contacting Customer Service.

2.6

Before proceeding with the submission of the order, the Customer may correct any data entry errors.

2.7

Orders must be submitted in Italian.

2.8

Once the order has been received, The Sun Srl shall process it as quickly as possible.

2.9

The Sun Srl reserves the right not to accept orders in the following cases:

incomplete or incorrect data;
payment authorisation not granted;
unavailability, including subsequent unavailability, of the ordered products;
lack of sufficient solvency guarantees.

In such cases, the Customer will be informed by email that the contract has not been concluded or that the order has only been partially accepted.

If the order cannot be fulfilled in full due to the unavailability of certain products or for other objective reasons beyond the control of The Sun Srl, the contract shall be deemed concluded only with regard to the available products, without prejudice to reimbursement of any sums already paid for unavailable products.

2.10

By submitting the order, the Customer declares that they have read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

2.11

By submitting the order, the Customer also accepts the additional information and conditions present on the website, including those relating to the privacy policy, payments, deliveries, and the right of withdrawal.

2.12

Following conclusion of the contract, The Sun Srl shall send the Customer, by email, an order confirmation containing a summary of the applicable conditions, the products purchased, the price, the costs, the payment methods, the existence of the right of withdrawal, and the procedures for exercising it.

2.13

By submitting the order, the Customer agrees to receive tax documentation in electronic format, where applicable.

3. Guarantees and information on products and prices

3.1

On www.piombini.it, selected products marketed by The Sun Srl are offered for sale with attention to materials, technical characteristics, and overall quality.

3.2

The Sun Srl undertakes to offer products that comply with the quality standards of its reference market.

3.3

The main characteristics of the products are shown in the relevant product sheets published on the website. The images and colours of the products may not correspond perfectly to the real ones due to the browser, device, or monitor used. The images are for illustrative purposes only.

Any technical, usage, maintenance, or safety instructions are set out in the product sheets, labels, packaging, or accompanying documentation where provided.

3.4

Product prices are expressed in euros and, unless otherwise indicated, are inclusive of VAT. Prices may be subject to change; the price published on the website at the time the order is submitted shall remain valid.

3.5

Orders placed with delivery details incompatible with the areas served or relating to locations not reachable by the appointed carriers may be cancelled.

3.6

Where provided, the products are delivered with a label, identification tag, seal, or Piombini-branded adhesive tape. In the event of withdrawal, the product must be returned intact and complete with any identification elements present at the time of delivery.

3.7 Consumer right of withdrawal and returns/refunds

3.7.1

The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without having to provide any reason, within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the product. The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers and not to purchases made with a VAT number.

3.7.2

The right of withdrawal is excluded, among other cases, for goods made to measure or clearly personalised.

3.7.3

The Sun Srl reserves the right to withhold the refund until it has received the product or until the Customer has demonstrated that they have sent back the product, whichever occurs first.

3.7.4

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Customer must return the product without undue delay and in any case within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which they communicated to The Sun Srl the decision to withdraw from the contract.

3.7.5

The costs of returning the product subject to withdrawal shall be borne by the Customer.

3.7.6 How to make a return

To exercise the right of withdrawal or request a return, the Customer must contact Customer Service at piombini@piombini.it, indicating the order number and, if possible, the reason for the return.

The product must be returned:

intact;
unused beyond what is necessary to verify its nature, characteristics, and functioning;
complete with any accessories, documentation, identification elements, original packaging, and protections, where present.

Returned products that have been tampered with, damaged, altered, or are incomplete may be subject to a reduction in the refund or may not be accepted, within the limits permitted by applicable law.

The refund concerns the value of the purchased product. Return costs remain the responsibility of the Customer.

3.8 Legal guarantee of conformity

All products sold to consumers are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Consumer Code.

The guarantee applies to defects of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods and becoming apparent within the time limits established by law.

In the presence of a defect of conformity, the Consumer is entitled to the remedies provided by law, within the limits and under the conditions applicable from time to time.

The legal guarantee does not cover damage or defects resulting from improper use, negligence, alterations, incorrect maintenance, normal wear and tear, or damage caused after delivery.

To allow proper handling of any transport damage, the Customer is invited to check the integrity of the packaging at the time of delivery and to make a specific reservation on the carrier's document where necessary.

If it is necessary to return the product for guarantee checks, the product must be returned adequately packaged and, where possible, in the original packaging.

4. Payments

Payment for the purchased products and the related shipping costs must be made using one of the payment methods made available on the website at the time of the order.

The methods currently available may include:

payment by PayPal and credit/debit cards;
payment by bank transfer, where provided;
any instalment payment solutions, if available on the website at the time of purchase.

In the case of payment by bank transfer, the order will be processed only after the amount has actually been received.

4.1

Payment of the price of the products and any transport charges must be made using one of the procedures indicated during the purchase process.

4.2

In the case of payment by credit card, debit card, or other electronic instruments, the data relating to payment will be processed directly by the provider of the selected payment service, in accordance with appropriate security standards. The Sun Srl does not store or directly process the full data of payment instruments.

4.3

If, for any reason, the charge of the amount due is unsuccessful, the contract cannot be concluded and the order may be cancelled.

5. Web discount vouchers (if available)

5.1

Any discount vouchers issued by piombini.it allow the Customer to benefit from a price reduction under the conditions indicated in the relevant promotional initiative.

5.2

The discount code is entered in the cart or checkout section, according to the instructions on the website.

5.3

Unless otherwise indicated, discount vouchers:

may be used only once;
cannot be converted into cash;
cannot be combined with other promotional codes;
may be subject to minimum amount limits or category exclusions.

5.4

In the event of returning a product purchased with a discount voucher, any refund or reactivation of the promotional code will take place according to the conditions of the applied initiative and the standard return procedure.

6. Transport and delivery of products

6.1

The delivery times indicated on the website are to be considered indicative and non-essential, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Longer times may be necessary for certain geographical areas or during particular periods of the year.

6.2

Deliveries are normally made on working days, from Monday to Friday, at the times indicated by the appointed carrier. Any delivery costs are clearly stated during the purchase procedure.

6.3

The Customer is required to check that:

the name indicated for delivery is correct;
the street number and address are complete and visible;
the telephone contact number is correct;
access to the delivery location is actually practicable.

6.4

At the time of delivery, the Customer is required to check that the packages are intact, undamaged, and not wet. Any anomalies or visible damage must be reported immediately to the carrier by means of a specific note on the transport document.

7. Customer service

For any information, request, or assistance relating to products or orders placed on piombini.it, the Customer may contact Customer Service using the details indicated in these General Terms and Conditions or through the dedicated "Contact Us" section on the website.

8. Returns and right of withdrawal

8.1

The Consumer may return products purchased on piombini.it within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt, without any penalty and without any obligation to provide reasons, subject to the provisions of law for cases in which withdrawal is excluded.

8.2

To exercise withdrawal, the Customer is invited to contact Customer Service before shipping the return.

8.3

The product must be returned within 14 (fourteen) days from the notice of withdrawal.

8.4

The right of withdrawal shall be deemed correctly exercised if:

the notice of withdrawal has been sent within the prescribed period;
the product is returned intact, complete, and adequately packaged;
the product is not excluded from the right of withdrawal under the law.

The right of withdrawal is not permitted, among other things, in the case of:

products made to measure or personalised;
products returned in conditions incompatible with a normal verification of their nature and characteristics;
goods which by their nature cannot be returned or risk deteriorating rapidly;
other exclusion cases provided for by the legislation in force.

8.5

If the right of withdrawal is exercised correctly, The Sun Srl shall refund the amounts due within the time limits established by law, it being understood that the costs of returning the product remain the responsibility of the Customer.

8.6

If the return does not comply with the terms and general conditions set out in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, you will not be entitled to receive a full refund of the sums already paid; however, you may request, at your own expense, the return of the products in the condition in which they are at the time of inspection by The Sun Srl.

9. Refund timing and procedures

9.1

After receiving the returned product, The Sun Srl shall verify that the return complies with the applicable conditions.

9.2

The refund will be made within 14 (fourteen) days of receipt of the notice of withdrawal, without prejudice to The Sun Srl's right to withhold the refund until receipt of the goods or until proof of their shipment by the Customer.

9.3

The refund will be made using, where possible, the same payment method used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

9.4

If the recipient of the products is different from the person who made the payment, the refund will be made in favour of the person who made the payment, unless otherwise agreed between the parties and within the limits permitted by the payment procedure used.

9.5

The costs of returning the product remain the responsibility of the Customer. The Sun Srl is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays occurring during transport of the return if the shipment is organised directly by the Customer.

10. Privacy and confidentiality

10.1

The Customer's personal data will be processed in compliance with the legislation in force regarding the protection of personal data, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended.

10.2

Information relating to the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy published on the website.

10.3

The Customer is required to keep their website login credentials with due care and to promptly report any unauthorised use of them.

10.4

The Sun Srl adopts reasonable measures for the security of the systems and information managed through the website, without prejudice to the need for correct and prudent use by the user.

10.5

The Piombini trademark, together with the content on the website, images, texts, distinctive signs, and other published materials, is the exclusive property of The Sun Srl or the respective owners and is protected by applicable law.

11. Applicable law and protection of rights

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law.

For matters not expressly provided for, the provisions of the Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 70/2003 on electronic commerce, and the remaining applicable Italian legislation shall apply.

The Consumer's right to make use of the remedies provided by law remains unaffected, including any out-of-court dispute resolution procedures and recourse to the competent judicial authority.

12. Corrections and updates

The Sun Srl reserves the right to modify or update, in whole or in part, these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, including in consideration of any legislative or regulatory changes.

The new General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be effective from the date of publication on the website www.piombini.it.
