Materials and Construction

The Modigliani wall unit is made using selected materials and Italian craftsmanship, designed to ensure solidity, functionality, and lasting value over time.

The structures are made of blockboard veneered on the outside in Canaletto Walnut or Ash, while the interiors are finished in anegre. A construction choice that ensures stability, visual continuity, and quality that can be appreciated even when opening the doors.

The doors and shaped elements are made of veneered plywood, a solution that makes it possible to achieve the collection's distinctive curves while maintaining construction precision, reliability, and long-term durability.

The base drawers use Birch plywood structures, a material valued for its strength and stability. All opening and closing systems are equipped with soft mechanisms to ensure smooth movement, ease of use, and quiet operation.

Modigliani Shaped TV Base

The TV base is a complete, freestanding piece of furniture designed as the central element of the composition.

The shaping extends across the top, doors, and lower band, creating a continuous, harmonious line that defines the Modigliani design. It opens via a finger pull carved directly into the wood, with no applied handles, preserving a clean look and design continuity.

This version is made exclusively in Walnut and deliberately forgoes any engraved decorative elements: here, the true focal point is the wood itself, with its natural grain, the depth of the material, and the quality of the craftsmanship.

Integrated Cable Management System

The base is designed to neatly accommodate the TV, set-top box, console, router, power supplies, power strips, and multimedia devices.

All compartments are connected through dedicated openings, allowing cables to be routed to the central technical compartment, where they can be gathered and concealed without creating clutter or dust buildup.

The upper cable channel with brush cable pass-through allows direct connection to the TV while keeping wiring tidy and discreet, helping preserve the clean look of the entire composition.

The central technical compartment is designed to house connections, power supplies, and devices that are normally left visible, offering a practical and tidy solution for managing home technology.

Integrated LED Lighting

The base features integrated LED lighting in the lower section, with natural light directed downward.

The system is switched on by remote control and allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit the desired atmosphere, creating an elegant and discreet effect in the living room.

The light enhances the shaped lower section of the unit, visually lightens the volumes, and helps create a welcoming, refined setting.

Wall Units and Shelf

The wall units are made of Ash and feature push-pull opening. The upper unit uses a top-hinged opening, the lower one a drop-down opening, while the vertical module has side opening.

Inside the vertical wall unit there are two glass shelves that increase storage capacity and enhance the interior spaces. The horizontal wall units, on the other hand, are designed as open compartments without internal shelves, a solution that offers greater flexibility in organizing objects and everyday use.

The L-shaped TV shelf is finished on all sides, a feature that increases its design versatility and perceived quality.

It can be positioned closer to the center or farther toward the outside of the composition, adapting to the needs of the space and the size of the television. In addition, over time it can be repositioned or used in different configurations, offering flexibility that allows the furniture to evolve with the home and changing living needs.

The Value of Walnut and Ash

The COMP13 wall unit is born from the combination of two fine woods that interpret the Modigliani design in different yet complementary ways.

The shaped TV base is made exclusively of Walnut wood. This is not a random choice: the shaped workmanship, soft lines, and continuity of the grain find their highest aesthetic expression in Walnut.

The wall units and shelf, on the other hand, can be made in either Walnut or Ash, allowing the character of the composition to be customized while preserving the design identity of the Modigliani collection.

Walnut stands out for its elegant grain and finer pore, characteristics that give the furniture a refined and sophisticated appearance.

Ash, by contrast, features a more pronounced grain and more evident texture, qualities that remain noticeable even in lacquered versions and give the surface a more contemporary, tactile presence.

The natural grain patterns and figuring of the wood make each composition different from the next, helping create a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of furniture.
