The unique mark of lightness that leaves an impression
A bed that gives space, light and beauty. This classic model, without a footboard, is designed for those who want a more airy and flowing bedroom without sacrificing the charm of traditional elegance. Its shaped and pierced headboard is handmade with extreme care and represents an exclusive Piombini design, born in our creative archive to give form to a visual lightness that moves the senses. The sinuous curves, the harmonious solids and voids, express a refinement you can both see and feel.
Solid construction, light soul
The bed is designed with three height-adjustable crossbars, so it can adapt to the mattress base (160x195 cm) even without its own legs. The frame in solid and laminated cherry veneer wood is synonymous with solidity, precision and long-lasting durability. A balance of technique and beauty that enhances the furnishings in any setting, classic or contemporary.
A finish for every story
In the photos, the bed is shown in the warm finish GRN14 Bassano Chiaro Anticato, which highlights the wood grain and gives depth to the shaping. It is also available in:
4 handcrafted lacquered finishes, with an external worn and patinated effect
Uniform lacquered interior, for an elegant and sophisticated contrast
Each variant is handmade in multiple steps, because every detail deserves the right amount of time.
Why choose a bed like this?
Because it embodies the authentic meaning of beauty: personal, balanced, timeless. Because it comes from an original Piombini project, designed to move you every day. And because it is built to accompany you forever.
Piombini. Where every shape tells a story, and every home finds its heart.

Visconti Double Bed – Where Wood Meets Art
Elegance sculpted in the light of cherry wood
There is a wood that speaks of home, warmth, and emotion: it is the cherry wood chosen for this classic double bed, shaped with harmony and made unique by a headboard pierced with Piombini's exclusive design. Sinuous lines, light yet decisive, that guide the eye like a gentle wave. The absence of a footboard gives depth to the space, lightening the room and giving the bedroom a broader, more contemporary, and refined feel.
An exclusive design that tells a story of tradition
The pierced and curved headboard is an original Piombini creation: a unique decorative motif, designed in-house and entirely handcrafted by master artisans. Made of walnut-veneered wood fiber, it sculpts the light and creates shadow patterns, evoking the taste of inlay and the mastery of Italian wood art.
Solid structure, perfect proportions
Every part is built to last: the structure is made of solid wood and cherry-veneered blockboard, crafted with tailor-like precision. The bed features three height-adjustable crossbars, able to accommodate a 160 x 195 cm bed base even without legs, for custom comfort and discreet functionality that does not interfere with its aesthetic beauty.
The warmth of a finish that moves you
The version shown in the photo is offered in the handcrafted finish GRN14 Bassano Light Antique, a golden and natural shade that enhances the authentic beauty of cherry wood. Also available:
4 handcrafted lacquered finishes, with an external worn and patinated effect
Smooth lacquered interior for an elegant, understated, and clean result
Each finish is applied by hand in several stages, with light glazes and antiquing on the edges to create lively, tactile furniture with a story you can feel.
Why choose a Piombini piece?
Because every Piombini piece is born from an authentic gesture, handed down through four generations. Because it embodies the expertise of our artisans, the emotion of living wood, and the consistency of a style that stands the test of time. And because choosing Piombini means choosing a strong identity, made of love for beauty, a culture of craftsmanship, and a passion for the home.
Piombini. Harmony takes shape. Emotion that lasts forever.
Piombini Finishes
Material, color, harmony
Piombini finishes are design choices. They are created to bring balance between furniture, light, walls, fabrics, leather and the atmosphere of the home.
Each shade has a distinct character: it brings warmth, adds depth, lightens an arrangement, gives a study a more distinguished feel or makes a bedroom more welcoming.
A finish should be chosen thoughtfully. Its value lies in the overall effect: it creates harmony, continuity and style throughout the home.
Classic Finishes
Piombini's classic finishes bring out the furniture's authentic character: the warmth of wood, the depth of handcrafted details, and the distinctive appeal of antiqued and patinated surfaces.
The collection includes one wood finish, four full lacquer finishes, and four two-tone lacquer finishes. Each option brings elegance, rich texture, and craftsmanship to classic furniture.
Wood finish
A wood finish leaves the grain and natural color variations of the material visible. It is the choice most closely tied to the tradition of classic furniture: warm, rich and full of character, bringing the natural beauty of the wood to the fore.
It complements the wood, enhancing its grain, subtle tones and understated presence that makes each piece of furniture slightly different from the next.

To maintain the quality of your furniture over time, the simplest rule is also the most effective: do as little as possible.
For routine cleaning, a soft, dry cloth is all you need. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth and dry the surface immediately.
Avoid standing water, steam, direct heat sources, radiators and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Do not use alcohol, acetone, solvents, ammonia, harsh detergents, abrasive sponges, waxes or polishes that are not specifically recommended for the furniture.
Do not place very hot, wet or damp objects directly on the surfaces.
We also recommend avoiding direct contact with silicone-based materials, such as certain feet or pads used under alarm clocks, televisions and decorative objects. Some silicones can affect the furniture's finish. To protect the surfaces, use standard felt pads instead.
Only use doilies that have not been treated with chemicals or stiffening agents applied during ironing.
Once your bedroom furniture is in place, we recommend waiting at least two weeks before placing objects on its top surfaces, to allow the finishes to settle in their new environment.
If you have any questions about caring for or using your furniture, please contact our customer support team. Our dedicated team will respond directly.

“I have come to appreciate not only the quality and beauty of the furniture, but above all the professionalism and care this furniture company extends to its customers, even years after purchase. From the very beginning, Loris from customer support was extremely helpful. He was attentive, professional and genuinely accommodating, and recommended the best solution to my problem.
Despite being approximately 700 km away, he personally went out of his way to find a qualified installer in my area, showing a level of helpfulness and customer care that is far from a given. I was delighted with the work carried out by the company he recommended, who were highly professional, precise and skilled.
I can therefore say with great satisfaction that the quality and professionalism of the Piombini brand, as well as the beauty and craftsmanship of its furniture, go well beyond the initial purchase: you continue to receive care and support even years later.
Congratulations to the entire team and, in particular, to Loris for his professionalism and helpfulness. Highly recommended! 👏”

“Artisan craftsmanship and impeccable customer service
I am extremely happy with my purchase: I chose the Tiziano chest of drawers in a distressed two-tone antique butter finish. The quality of the wood is evident, and the 5 drawers, embellished with beautiful geometric inlays, make it a true work of art that brings warmth to the bathroom. Delivery was on time and the packaging was impact-resistant. Special thanks to architect Emanuela for her impeccable assistance. Buying from Piombini is a guarantee of quality, and I can't wait to make my next purchase!”
