D’Este Bedroom: composition and technical features

The Classic D’Este Double Bedroom, code CAM03M, is a complete composition made exclusively in Italy and coordinated with the D’Angiò sliding wardrobe.

Solid wood, slatted wood and plywood are used according to the function of each element, to achieve strength, balance, and long-term stability.

Materials and construction

• Solid wood used in structural elements and details that require greater strength.

• Slatted wood and plywood used in the surfaces and parts that must maintain stability and consistency over time.

• Profiles, frames and pierced details made from real wood and crafted following the collection design.

• Walnut decorations hand-crafted and applied to the fronts.

• Hardware and handles in brass or zama alloy with a bronzed finish, selected according to the function and style of each element.

• Handcrafted processing and finishes carried out in Italy, with particular attention to the harmony between bed, nightstands, dresser, wardrobe and mirror.

How we create the finishes

The finish is not just a simple color applied to the furniture, but a handcrafted process carried out through successive steps to enhance the wood, frames, profiles and decorations.

In the GRN14 Light Antique Bassano finish, the process leaves the grain and natural color variations of the wood visible, creating depth and warm tones that are never perfectly uniform.

In the lacquered versions, the outer surfaces are hand-worked to achieve the worn, antique and patinated effect. The treatment highlights profiles, frames and decorations, following the furniture’s shapes and giving the finish greater depth.

The internal parts, on the other hand, retain a uniform finish, without a worn and patinated effect, cleaner, more regular and suited to everyday use.

Slight differences in tone and intensity are a natural result of handcrafting and the characteristics of the wood. They are not imperfections, but rather make each composition distinctive and never perfectly identical to another.

The available variants allow you to interpret the D’Este Bedroom according to the character of the home: from brighter and softer atmospheres to more intense and dramatic solutions, always in keeping with the Piombini style and tradition.
