Composition of the proposal

The wall unit is made up of modular elements designed to create a complete, balanced, and functional composition, with a shaped TV base, support shelf, side column, and upper wall units.

The double depth comes from the different functions of the elements: the shaped TV base reaches a depth of 58 cm, while the column, wall units, and support shelf have a depth of 40 cm, creating a lighter, more dynamic play of volumes.

Shaped floor-standing TV base

Floor-standing shaped TV base in Canaletto Walnut, with four doors enhanced by the Comete engraving. The doors feature a groove-opening system carved beneath the top, keeping the cabinet’s lines clean without the use of external handles.

The base is designed with not only today’s needs in mind, but tomorrow’s as well. All compartments connect with one another through dedicated technical passages, allowing power supplies, audio connections, data networks, and connection cables to be neatly organized.

Each compartment is fitted with an internal glass shelf. The central compartment includes a fixed section with a drop-down flap dedicated to neatly managing the cables of electronic equipment.

At the back of the top there is a cable-brush pass-through that allows the unit to sit against the wall, keeping connections tidy without having to leave unsightly gaps from the wall.

The base includes a low-consumption LED lighting system with natural light, controlled by remote control for switching on, switching off, and adjusting brightness. The light enhances the lines of the shaped base and helps create greater comfort in the room.

The hinges are fitted with a soft-close system, for smoother, quieter, and more reliable everyday use over time.

Support shelf

The support shelf is one of the most distinctive and intelligent elements of the entire composition. It creates the dedicated TV surface and visually connects the base to the side column, contributing to the wall’s architectural balance.

During assembly, it can be installed either next to the column or in an overhanging position, allowing the composition to be customized according to the available space and the desired aesthetic result.

Even in later years, this configuration can be changed, adapting the unit to a new room, a new home, or a different furniture layout.

The support element on the base is fixed using wooden dowels and a magnetic system, with two predefined positions. This solution makes it possible to move the column closer to or farther from the TV base while maintaining stability and a clean design.

The shelf is fully finished on every side, specifically to allow for any future changes in layout without compromising the cabinet’s aesthetics.

Finishes and the value of wood

The finishes in the Modigliani collection are designed to enhance the wood, not hide it. The shades are created with translucent finishes that let the natural grain of the Walnut come through, protecting the surface without erasing its substance, depth, or authenticity.

Even in the lacquered versions, the design maintains its connection with wood and with the composition’s build quality, offering a more essential, contemporary look without giving up the value of Piombini furniture.

Notes on measurements, wood, and furniture care

Where not otherwise indicated, all measurements are in centimeters.

Wood is a natural material: differences in grain, slight variations in tone, light knots, or natural color differences should not be considered defects, but authentic characteristics of the material.

For routine cleaning, use a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe with a dry cloth. Avoid direct contact with heat sources, standing water, aggressive products, alcoholic or acidic substances.

It is also recommended not to place electronic devices with unprotected rubber feet, candles, air fresheners, or objects with oily or silicone components directly on the surfaces.
