The shape of classic style, the measure of home
The Smart Visconti Classic Double Bedroom with Shaped Bed and Footboard is created for a night area that is essential in its composition, yet full of character. Bed, dresser, nightstands, and mirror form a complete, balanced room, deeply Italian.
The shaped bed with footboard is the visual centre of the bedroom. The perforated headboard lightens the structure, the flowing line guides the eye, and the cherry finish warms the room with a natural, measured presence.
A bold line. Composed beauty.
Visconti interprets the Piombini classic with generous proportions, real wood, and hand-crafted details. It does not aim for effect. It seeks durability, balance, memory. The result is a bedroom that furnishes with discretion and remains in the home with authority.
Every element has a precise role. The dresser holds, the nightstands accompany, the mirror completes the light and depth of the room. Nothing is superfluous, nothing is random: everything contributes to creating an intimate, orderly, and welcoming atmosphere.
A Piombini piece of furniture is born from a true story, made of hands, wood, and responsibility. A story that has continued for four generations and that you can discover on the page dedicated to our story.
The technical design of the Visconti bedroom

Materials and workmanship
The bedroom is made of solid wood, with a structure in solid wood, slatted board and plywood, according to the function and intended use of the different elements.
The shaped bed with footboard, the perforated headboard, the dresser and the bedside tables express the character of the Visconti collection: soft shapes, substantial proportions and carefully crafted details.
The walnut decorations and finishes are handcrafted by our Italian artisans. Every step enhances the material, the depth of colour and the natural variations of the wood, making each bedroom unique in its expression.
The handles and metal details are made of brass or zamak alloy with a bronzed finish, in harmony with the classic design of the bedroom.
Available finishes
The bedroom shown in the photo is presented in the GRN14 Light Antique Bassano finish, a warm shade that enhances the character of cherry wood and the depth of the craftsmanship.
Four lacquered finishes are also available, featuring an external treatment with a worn and patinated effect, while the inside retains a uniform, tidy appearance. The available variants are listed in the dedicated finishes tab.
Care and maintenance
Clean the surfaces with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a slightly damp cloth, then dry the surface carefully right away.
Avoid alcohol, solvents, ammonia, degreasers, abrasive products, spray waxes, silicone products, sizing products or cleaners not specifically designed for hand-finished wooden furniture.
During the first two weeks, it is advisable to let the furniture breathe, avoiding doilies, plastic covers, silicone or materials that could prevent the finish from stabilising properly.
Always use felt pads under decorative objects, lamps, vases, alarm clocks, radios, televisions or other electronic devices placed on the surfaces. Pay particular attention to the small rubber or silicone feet often found under these items: they may react with our type of finish and leave halos or marks on the surface. Felt is the suitable and recommended material to protect the furniture.
Piombini Finishes
Material, color, harmony
Piombini finishes are design choices. They are created to bring balance between the furniture, the light, the walls, the fabrics, the leathers, and the atmosphere of the home.
Each shade has a distinct character: it brings warmth, adds depth, lightens a composition, makes a study more authoritative, or a sleeping area more welcoming.
A finish should be chosen with care. Its value lies in the whole: it creates harmony, continuity, and style throughout the spaces.
Classic Finishes
Piombini’s classic finishes enhance the furniture in its most authentic identity: the warmth of the wood, the depth of the handcrafted workmanship, and the character of antiqued and patinated surfaces.
The collection includes one wood finish, four solid lacquered finishes, and four two-tone lacquered finishes. Each option interprets classic furniture with elegance, substance, and craftsmanship.
Wood finish
The wood finish leaves the grain and the material’s natural color variations visible. It is the choice most closely tied to the tradition of classic furniture: warm, deep, lived-in, and able to bring the natural beauty of the wood to the forefront.
It complements the wood, enhancing its pattern, its shades, and that understated presence that makes each piece of furniture slightly different from the next.

To preserve the quality of the furniture over time, the simplest rule is also the most effective: do as little as possible.
For routine cleaning, simply use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly damp cloth may be used, drying the surface immediately afterward.
Avoid standing water, steam, direct heat sources, radiators, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Do not use alcohol, acetone, solvents, ammonia, harsh detergents, abrasive sponges, waxes, or polishing products not specifically intended for the furniture.
Do not place very hot, wet, or damp objects directly on the surfaces.
It is also recommended not to place silicone-based materials directly on the surfaces, such as some pads or supports used under alarm clocks, televisions, and decorative objects. Some silicones may alter the furniture’s finish. To protect the surfaces, it is preferable to use ordinary felt pads.
Doilies should only be used if they have not been treated with chemical products or fixing substances applied during ironing.
After the bedroom furniture has been installed, we recommend waiting at least two weeks before placing objects on the top surfaces, so that the finishes can stabilize in the environment.
If you have any questions about caring for the furniture or how to use it, you can contact our customer service. Our dedicated department will respond directly.

“I had the chance to appreciate not only the quality and beauty of the furniture, but above all the seriousness and care this furniture maker shows its customers even years after purchase. From the very beginning, I was assisted with great availability by Loris from customer service, a thoughtful, professional, and truly helpful person, who was able to advise me on the best solution to solve my problem.
Despite being about 700 km away, he personally went out of his way to find a qualified installer in my area, showing a level of availability and customer care that is far from taken for granted. I was extremely satisfied with the work carried out, performed with great professionalism, precision, and expertise by the company I was referred to.
So I can say with great satisfaction that the quality and reliability of the Piombini brand, as well as the beauty and craftsmanship of its furniture, go far beyond a simple purchase: it means continuing to be followed and supported even after years.
Congratulations to all the staff and, in particular, to Loris for the professionalism and availability shown. Highly recommended! 👏”
