A classic bookcase that preserves books, memories, and beauty over time
The D'Este Classic Bookcase with Three Sliding Doors was created to furnish studies, living rooms, and formal spaces with the timeless elegance of Italian handcrafted furniture.
Its generous proportions, balanced lines, and premium materials make it much more than a simple storage piece: it becomes an architectural element capable of bringing character, order, and warmth to the home.
It is a bookcase designed to accompany everyday life for many years, showcasing books, precious objects, and family memories with the same care with which it was built.
The charm of sliding doors
The three sliding doors allow you to organize spaces practically while always maintaining an elegant and tidy composition. Their smooth movement makes everyday use pleasant and allows the bookcase to be used even in spaces where room constraints require functional solutions.
The large glass surfaces visually lighten the presence of the structure, creating a perfect balance between visual impact and harmony within the room.
The D'Este decoration: a detail that tells a story of tradition
A distinctive element of the D'Este collection is the refined decoration made of Canaletto walnut wood, a craftsmanship detail that recalls the finest Italian cabinetmaking tradition and gives the piece depth, movement, and exclusivity.
A detail that does not follow passing trends but interprets classic taste with balance and personality, making every bookcase instantly recognizable.
Authentic materials and handcrafted construction
Each D'Este Bookcase is created using selected materials and handcrafted workmanship that prioritizes solidity, construction precision, and long-lasting durability.
Its substantial structure ensures stability and reliability, while the adjustable shelves allow the interior spaces to be arranged freely to suit the needs of the home.
Every detail is finished with care to offer a piece of furniture capable of maintaining its aesthetic and functional value over time.
Finishes that enhance real wood
The bookcase shown in the photograph is made in the finish GRN14 Bassano Chiaro Anticato, but it is also available in the lacquered finishes of the collection.
Each Piombini finish is the result of handcrafted processes and light glazing that protect the wood without concealing its natural beauty. The grain remains the focal point, expressing all the material richness, chromatic depth, and authenticity of a piece of furniture built to last.

Care and Maintenance
To preserve the quality of the furniture over time, the simplest rule is also the most effective: do as little as possible.
For routine cleaning, simply use a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly damp cloth may be used, drying the surface immediately afterward.
Avoid standing water, steam, direct heat sources, radiators, and prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Do not use alcohol, acetone, solvents, ammonia, harsh detergents, abrasive sponges, waxes, or polishing products not specifically intended for the furniture.
Do not place very hot, wet, or damp objects directly on the surfaces.
It is also recommended not to place silicone-based materials directly on the surfaces, such as some pads or supports used under alarm clocks, televisions, and decorative objects. Some silicones may alter the furniture’s finish. To protect the surfaces, it is preferable to use ordinary felt pads.
Doilies should only be used if they have not been treated with chemical products or fixing substances applied during ironing.
After the bedroom furniture has been installed, we recommend waiting at least two weeks before placing objects on the top surfaces, so that the finishes can stabilize in the environment.
