We do it "as it used to be done" and it is the time we dedicate to our furniture that makes it eternal.
First of all there is time: the careful eye of our craftsman chooses the best wood to use and then cuts it, selecting the best parts. These are then put together and this is how our work takes shape.
The piece of furniture then passes into the hands of "the lustrin", this is what we call the craftsman who paints the piece of furniture. He gives definition to all the details, thus making them take on a soul. This phase is followed by the tearing phase, an expert hand passes a rag over the surface which removes the dye in the points where the wood, naturally, has not absorbed it. Once the product has dried, it is sanded again and here more or fewer steps are carried out depending on the effect and style we want to give to our furniture.
The final coat gives a protective veil to the product and if the product is classic, a natural protective beeswax is also applied. Finally, the piece of furniture is checked by "expert eyes" who personally ensure that the product complies with Piombini quality standards and only at the end is the brand affixed to real leather and always by hand.
All this is made only and exclusively by hand and in Italy by expert people.
For us they are an obsession: we pay great attention to selecting the best materials to make our furniture and defining its details. The quality of the raw materials is necessary to obtain the perfect balance between functionality and high aesthetics. Each natural material chosen, each of its nuances and each of its processes distinguish a collection. The search for quality in materials also focuses on their characteristics of reliability and durability over time.
It is part of our culture and our desire to always move forward. We are the ones who personally take care of stylistic and technological research without ever losing sight of functionality and maximum quality. The development of new solutions with attention to the stylistic aspect is continuous and is always aimed at best interpreting living trends and providing maximum freedom of combination in line with lifestyle.
Each of our pieces of furniture is made with the aim of performing its function for a long time, always guaranteeing the highest quality. For this reason we always pay great attention to the mechanical components, personally testing and inspecting them several times because we believe that solidity over time is guaranteed by the quality of the project in its entirety. Correct weight distribution, the certainty of perfect leveling of each individual element, the perfect movement of the doors and the fluid sliding of the drawers are essential musts for us.
Our logo is a blue elephant. Tino, that's his name and we chose him because the elephant, in the world, symbolizes strength, wisdom, loyalty and memory. Tino has an erect trunk because, according to tradition, it brings good luck and it is blue in color because, symbolically, it is the color that represents knowledge, security, reliability and trust. These are all values in which we recognize ourselves and which we carry forward every day.
«Delivering creations that continue to live in homes, capable of supporting people every day
as real life companions, it means bringing the values that distinguish us into homes
through our furniture.
This is the dream we live every day."
